Born on July 16, 2007, in Virar, Maharashtra, Ayush Mhatre is a right-handed batsman and right-arm off-spinner who has rapidly ascended the ranks of Indian cricket. His early training at Kkalpvriksha Cricket Clinic under the mentorship of Coach Prashant Shetty laid a strong foundation for his technique and mental fortitude. Ayush made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2024-25 season and soon after scored a remarkable 176 against Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy. In List A cricket, he etched his name in the records by becoming the youngest player to score over 150 runs in a match, surpassing Yashasvi Jaiswal’s record.
